05 · My Story

It started with me.
But it's for all of us.

A letter from one builder, to anyone who's ever opened Claude and quietly thought: I could build this.

From the first Claudian

I'm not a researcher. I don't work at a lab. I'm someone who opened Claude one day and felt something shift — this changes how we build things. Quietly, completely.

I had ideas. Small ones, ambitious ones. Things I genuinely believed could create value for people who needed it most. I'm a storyteller at heart, and the more I built, the more I felt one quiet wish: these ideas should reach the people making the model. They should reach Anthropic.

But I didn't know how. I'm not in their network. I don't have the right intros. I'm just one person, with a laptop and a subscription, on the other side of the screen.

And then I realised — I'm not the only one. There are millions of us.

Every day, somewhere on Earth, someone opens Claude and has the same quiet thought. I could build this. I could fix that. I could help someone with this. A teacher in Lagos. A nurse in Manila. A student in Bogotá. A retiree in Glasgow. Different lives, same conviction.

That's when I knew this couldn't be just my story. Claudians of the Galaxy isn't about me. It started with me — because someone had to start it — but it belongs to every person who has ever felt that conviction. Every person who believes they can make a difference in this world through AI, and is willing to show up and build.

We're not a brand. We're not a shop. We're not selling anything. We're a purpose-driven community of builders — and the only thing we want is to make sure the people quietly shipping useful things, in cities the news won't cover, on phones that cost less than dinner, are seen. Are heard. Are part of the future of this technology too.

Anthropic is for all of us. AI is for all of us. The chance to make something that matters is for all of us. And if I can help even one more person believe that — if I can help one more builder ship one more thing that helps one more person — then this was already worth it.

If this reaches Anthropic — and every builder we surface is credited by name — we did the thing.

That's the whole story. It started with me. It's for all of us. And I'm hoping you'll help me write the next chapter.
